Sunshine at last

Today the sky is blue and the sun is shining, it makes such a difference to everything, especially the walk from the cottage into town. Keswick is really a lovely town, I knew that even when it was raining, but it looks really pretty today. I'm hoping we'll go for a trip on the lake this afternoon, and that I'll get a chance to take some less damp photos today.

Ian and I have been to a few meetings as part of the Keswick convention and have seen a few people we know. The ones who are camping were feeeling even damper than we were, so they will be really glad to see the sun today.

Now I know you are in the Lakes District. I hope the whole convention proves successful despite the weather. And I hope you got out on the water too. Sounds nice.

Every time I hear the word 'Keswick' I keep singing Latin 'resurrexit'... a snippet from something we used to sing at school!
