Half term

We had quite a busy and productive weekend, a couple of good services at church yesterday, packing stuff for Roumania on Saturday, but today without the motivation of school, activity has ground to a halt, and really nothing very productive has happened here this morning! And it's not as if I have nothing to do, there's plenty, I think I better have lunch and then get on and do something useful...

very different
We've had a very different day here, hectic chaos! We are all tired out now. Started the huge task of emptying the front bedroom and walk in wardrobe, so we can swap Ben to the front room and then just have his smaller bedroom as the ironing room. We managed to get as far as sorting out his old bedroom and moving all the clothes from the ironing room, but we still have the walk in wardrobe to do. Tomorrow probably more of the same, see if we can get this finished by the end of Wednesday!
The walk in wardrobe has been a home for junk for the last 10 years, so there is all sorts in there to clear out.

Re: very different
My day did get more productive, but I really can't face sorting behind the walls in Chris's room, or the garage which are the two areas that really need sorting! Well, good luck with the walk in wardrobe!

An ironing room? Yikes, sounds like a torture room! I bet my ironing room would end up full to the brim with unironed articles and endless other stuff we didn't know where to put *g* ...hmmm, right now that is the laundry

I reckon an ironing room would be like a room with a one way portal, lots would go in, but nothing would ever come out!!!!

So Roumania, is that the same as Rumania, and are you going there for the vampires and how are you going to get there?

My friends Kathryn and Laurence run an appeal twice a year at our church, (along with others in the area) to collect all sorts of things to send to particular areas of Roumania, to help orphans, street children, a priest who cares for many poor and homeless etc. We collect everything; pens, pencils, exercise books, clothes, bedding towels, toys, food, etc etc it all has to be packed in boxes to be transported in a big lorry to Roumania. That is what we are packing for!!! A really huge amount of stuff is collected...

I don't think they've ever met any vampires, but the poverty and hardship that is there would probably be more horrific than most horror stories or tales of vampires!!!
