Well here we are, August is nearly over and the boys start school this week, at least we have sorted out schools for them before term begins. We will need to go and buy uniform for Chris tomorrow, but today is a bank holiday here, so today we can't do many of things we need to get on with. We are going round to Mum's for lunch today and I think that I might try to get some painting done later. I think it is finally starting to feel as though we really live here rather than having an extended holiday, this will probably feel even more so when the seafreight arrives, which it should do in the next fortnight, it was due to arrive in the country last week.

Painting, painting - whee! I wanna see it when it's done!

It must still be nice to feel like you're on holiday! Even though school is about to start.

It's starting to lose its appeal.

I'd love to come closer, it's just in the too-hard basket for me just now, travelling with three other people as well. And none of them Rob Lowe fans ;)

Sounds like things are gradually falling into place and that you all need a huge pat on the back for getting on with it. Hope you are not too homesick for NZ. This week sounds like a big one, what with school starting. Another big milestone. Can I ask what kind of paintings you like to do?

If I just say Viv paints mostly acrylic on canvas, it won't help you visualise what sort of pictures they are. We do need to kick the scanner and the ftp client into action and put a gallery on the web somewhere, soon!
