-Goat Sagwalla from Mr India in Lower Hutt
We had goat the other night. We didn't tell the children until afterwards. Christy was horrified and Steve kept humming Yodel-ay-ee from the Sound of Music!

Your holidays sound better than mine! *sigh* must get out more!

We, Ian David and I, really enjoy goat curry, but you don't seem to be able to get it here.

And I don't think you can ever have too many holidays, there are just so many places I want visit or revisit, I have a really long wish list in that department!!

Christy has sworn to inspect every meat label Steve buys from now on to prevent any further consumption of goat, not to mention the great Day of Ostrich Burgers, or the Deer Dinner Debacle...

I'd be quite happy to eat any of those, and Ian had kangaroo too, though I would draw the line at dog or cat curry!

I think Steve ate dog once in Hawaii! I am sure I don't want to eat a kangaroo, or even part of one! And no cat. Or guinea pig.

We had rabbit pie in Patea once. Baby quails in a fancy restaurant in Tinakori Road. Steve likes escargot. I still prefer chicken. And chocolate. And cheese. I could live off those three.

Well, we especially like chicken and chocolate, now you come to mention it.

Ah yes, the Mexican influence, huh! I still haven't gotten around to that, but I have the recipe ready!

I like chicken and chocolate and cheese too, even though none of them made my top four. I've never tried escargot, but I think I'd be happy to, I don't mind marinated raw fish like you have in Tahitian salad either, but that's something that grosses out lots of people.

Oh, I loooooooooove raw fish, marinated or not! I love to marinate it in coconut milk, is that the way you mean? With lime?

Oh dear, is that the time? Which rhymes with lime... better fly!
G'night!

Either way is fine, but I like it best with coconut milk. There used to be a restaurant called La Cabane in Port Vila which served the most divine Tahitian Salad, sadly it is not there any more:(

I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to explain a curry in your hand luggage!!
