Yesterday, while Ian was having a phone interview, I went up to Bebington, to deliver a pile of Bebington Life leaflets. When I had finished I wandered up to Margaret's place, where I had coffee, helped make sandwiches for the guide party and had an interesting chat. She says she'll give us a ride home from the Christmas Eve service, which is cool because I was trying to figure out how we were going to manage that in the absence of Christmas Day trains. In the evening I finally finished writing all my Christmas cards now I just need to get them into the mail!
Today Ian went off to Macclesfield for an interview, and in the morning I went out for a coffee with Angela at Burleydam Garden Centre, which was lovely. I'd never been there before and it was really nice. When I got home Mum came round for lunch. I've managed to get lots of housework done today too, though of course there is still more laundry to do! Tonight there is choir, which should be fun, and I suppose I need to cook some tea before then.
