The weekend

Well I've had an amazing couple of days here. For two days running I have managed to fit in more things than I would ever have thought possible. As I sit here and type, I'm still not sure how I managed to do everything, but I'm very glad I did.
Among plenty of other things I have made and distributed a couple of hundred fliers for the Won World Weekend we are organising, had Ian's cousin Alison round for a birthday lunch, sold lots of cds and cassetttes at Steve's concert last night.

I really enjoyed Steve's concert, it was great to hear Steve perform his music, rather than just lead worship in church, and it was an added bonus to hear the simply brilliant guitar playing of Norman Barratt who was playing in his band.

I was up really early today cooking lasagne and things for lunch, so that I could both play in music group at the morning service and attend a planning meeting afterwards, and still serve lunch for Alison and the family afterwards at a civil time.

I've still got masses to organise, but things are definitely starting to take shape,(sighs with relief). It's going to be a busy couple of weeks!

Wow, you sure are busy! Lucky you're not working LOL! I think it is great that you have so much to do that is bringing you joy. That is so important, huh. Go, Viv!

I think that it is being busy that makes me happy really, I enjoy the challenge of having deadlines to meet and lots of things to bring together and making it all work.
It is a very fine line between enough activity to keep me happy and so much that it overwhelms me. I was definitely walking that line this weekend, but I landed on the right side of it in the end, so that was good!
