Back to school

Ian was out early for a prayer breakfast up at the church hall, and then I waved three boys all off to school for the first time in over a year! Quite a strange feeling really, to be here all by myself with everybody out busy doing things!I'll be going out in about an hour too, up to the hall to wash toys for Little Fishes, in the meantime...

Just think if Ian got a job it could be like that every morning!!

True. Is he getting any closer to a job? Our neighbour said once, when her husband retired, that she married him for better or worse but not for lunch!

Maybe Ian should just become a minister *g* Father Ringbark... *g*

Isnt it quiet when they are all out ! Having adult children I have forgotten about back to school days but know what "withdrawal symptoms" I have when Jo goes back to work.I keep starting a sentence and realise no one is there except the dog ,and she wisely takes no notice of my mumblings.
