I've had a quiet couple of days since I got back from Shropshire. Yesterday morning we went to Angela's for coffee, it wasn't that quiet there because they were cutting tiles for the bathroom! We managed to have a good chat all the same. I did laundry and housework in the afternoon, then after tea Margaret came round with her laptop. She wanted to make a powerpoint presentation for a guiding event happening later in the year.It took a little while but we ended up with a very satisfactory powerpoint, with the keywords:

I've made some playdough this morning for the first time in many years, but I hadn't forgotten how! Anyway me and and my red playdough need to go to Little Fishes now, housegroup later, and there are some pictures I want to paint!!

You should see my 'to do' list! I don't want to get lured into any kind of regular commitment with a local school - I'd have to go through police checks and stuff again, seeing as I'm not a parent. And I haven't actually got much spare time. But one of these days ...

Nice acrostic. My children at school did one for me the other day but the only word they knew with J was jump...

Angela... is that the person I know now?

Yes Angela is the person you know! The acrostic didn't originate with me, apparently it sums up the 5 basics of guiding!!
