What a day!

Yesterday was quiet, with the only notable activities being a very civilised lunch with our friend Gill and a trip to deliver the prayer cards I made to Steve B's place.

Today by contrast was chaotic. I was out early for Coffee Plus, meanwhile Ian was off to Manchester to meet with a recruitment consultant. After Coffee Plus, Julienne came back here for coffee and a chat, which was lovely. Then I was off to Kathryn's to do a load of packing for the Roumania appeal. I stayed there until nearly teatime. Then it was time for Chris to go to Pathies, while Ian and I took a trip to Asda to buy biros, pencil sharpeners and erasers, which we then dropped back into Kathryn's. We stayed there long enough to drink a cup of coffee before picking Chris up and heading home. While walking back from the station we bumped into Archie (the dog), roaming the streets again! He followed us home very happily and this time managed to consume half a pack of sausages and a couple of slices of bread, before his owners came to retrieve him again! Apparently he has learnt to turn the handle and open the window to escape from his own house, so this may not be the last we see of Archie!!!

Must be bedtime now!!!

poor archie
you have to feel so sorry for archie. but now you've fed him twice I am sure you will see him again. You might want to suggest window locks next time you meet archie's owner.

Re: poor archie
It was the mother, back from holidays, who collected him this time. She says they are moving soon, and was very apologetic, and also said it wasn't fair to the dog that he was being left alone for long periods, so hopefully things might change for Archie soon!
