Gingerbread

I spent yesterday morning transforming our house from print shop back to a home, ready for visitors in the afternoon. To be fair, the dining room still has the look of a print shop, but the rest of the lower floor now looks like a comfortable abode, and I might even seriously consider finding the Christmas decorations and getting them up in the next few days!!

In the afternoon Julia, Sue and Debbi came round, and since it was our last meeting before Christmas we had a fun afternoon decorating gingerbread men and Christmas trees, eating meringues, raspberries, blueberries and mince pies, and of course, drinking coffee (or tea!). The decorating was great fun, and the product looked good, the boys assure me they tasted good too!

Those are beautiful. I love reading about your preparations. I'm living quietly in a state of chaos with very little done!
I'll enjoy your peace!

For our bazaar last time, someone made us anatomically correct (and naked) gingerbread men and women - the men scored a jelly bean in the right place *g*

The mind boggles! lol

Peace isn't precisely how I'd describe my current situation, but I'm certainly having lots of fun, music practice last night, choir practice tonight, I love it all, I love the housework a lot less, but I suppose it has to be done....

What happened to your entry where we were talking before?!

I felt embarrassed. Like who needs to hear more about me. I haven't deleted it. I just put that eye thing on it.

Why wouldn't we want to hear about you? That's why I read your journal!! And I'm so pleased that your principal has finally resigned, I've been hoping and praying that she would for months...so of course I want to know.. I'm sure Liz and Philippa will want to know too!!!!

Aw, thank you. *sigh* I guess I'd better let them know. I'll take the eye thing off then.

Thanks.
