Chasing rainbows...

Today I noticed, not for the first time, that my outlook on life maybe out of line with those around me!

After lunch and card making, I popped to see Kathryn and then walked up to New Ferry where I visited the bank and the supermarket. Then loaded with bags I waited to catch a bus home. While we were on the bus it starting pouring with rain. As we approached my stop while every one else was reaching for their umbrellas, I was reaching for my camera to try to capture the glorious rainbow which had appeared in the sky!!

Well here are some of the results of that particular momentary insanity:

and finally a picture of wet blossom in my garden!

The world was looking beautiful, and the rain didn't last long, the rainbow was starting to fade even as I took the photos

Most beautiful things are transitory, just like our joys and sorrows...

See, me, I want joys to be long-lasting, and sorrows to just hurry up and go away! I think I need to have more mature expectations LOL! You are indeed younger and wiser *g*

Re: good company
I have been chasing rainbows for the past ten years they have a very special meaning to me and my family. I always feel special when I see one I know that someone is looking down on us and is still taking care of us .

I photograph rainbows too. In fact, I've turned one into a 'cover' for my other novel - the one that will hopefully wing its way to publishers when it's been beta'ed and proof-read. I'll email you the rainbow pic. The blossom is absolutely gorgeous.

Thanks Viv
Big thanks for the lovely card and C.D. I am playing the C.D. now and it has a great sound to it.
You take some wonderful photo's Viv, I noticed that it was getting darker as you took the photo's and I wondered what time it was.
How is Chris going at school?
Mike has been told twice so far that he better try harder in English. The test scores wasn't high enough for her. We will have a parent/teacher meeting soon so that might change something hopefully. He has graphics and Computing so we will see what happens.
Mike was concerned that IF he fails English, he will fail everything else automatically. We explained that it won't be as easy but it is very possible to do the job you would like later. You have to stay determind to get there. Listen to positives and negitives from people and work around problems as they arrive. Remember you have done a great job so far and technology is helping you too. He gets a laptop from school this year (ya).
I wrote this in here because you have always been a positive in Mike's life and we apprecite all the work you have done in the past.
