The weather has been glorious here for the last two days. My toilet was finally finished yesterday...

The bathroom is still far from finished... but it will be good when it is!!

I went out for lunch with Gill at Zuger's, we both had rosti which was delicious. After lunch we went to Port Sunlight and wandered through the dell and then past the war memorial up to the Lady Lever Art Gallery where we had a quick look inside. This was the first time I have ever been inside even though I have lived just a few miles away for most of my life!! It definitely won't be the last time though it was really interesting and I will certainly be going back for a longer look sometime. I'm glad to have finally seen Holmann Hunt's scapegoat and it seemed very seasonally appropriate to see it during Holy Week!! There was also a temporary exhibition featuring photos of unusual and beautiful homes from around Liverpool and Wirral.

Today has mainly involved huge quantities of white paint... more about that later...

Meanwhile a couple more photos of spring flowers from my garden:

More primroses

If anyone can help identify these I would be grateful

Ooh, nice shiny clean classy toilet *g*

I'm glad you've had good weather. Those flowers are a burst of sunshine. It's fine here but overcast, and we're supposed to be off to follow the cross around Seatoun shortly. Hmmmmm.

I Googled the goat. Poor goat.

-goats have good reason to celebrate Easter!!!
There are special goat celebrations? Or do you just mean there are no more bad goat moments at Easter! Because I guess that's good for goats. As long as you guys don't go out for another goat curry... *g*

Smart toilet!
The plant is what I call Periwinkle - you have the non-variegated version. I imagine vinca is the Latin name.
I think the goat was on loan to the M/C gallery a few years ago. I remember looking at it with Judith on one of our periodic treks.
