After a lazy early morning I set off for Liverpool to meet moth2fic at Lime Street. I was there in good time and had quick cappuccino while I was waiting for her train to arrive! We met up without problem, unlike the smartly suited gentleman who asked me if I was Sylvia, and was still awaiting this mystery lady when we set off into the "pre 2008 Capital of Culture" chaos which passes for Liverpool City Centre these days. We had a pleasant and surprisingly warm trip on the "Ferry across the Mersey".

After that we headed to Bromborough where we had a lovely lunch at Zügers at my local shops. Then we caught the train to Port Sunlight where we walked through the village to the Lady Lever Art Gallery and had a look at paintings, statues etc. Then there was just time for another cup of coffee at the Gallery cafe before it was time to return to Liverpool for Liz to catch her train home!

I got the pictures side by side by putting them in a table, like this:
except using "< >" instead of "( )".

I'm sure Moth will be posting some photos soon too!!

ü is written using this code "ü" without the inverted commas!!

I have read your account - sounds like the same trip I went on... which is good I guess!!

Humph, lj is being too clever with the code, I didn't think it would recognise it with the inverted commas, I'll try leaving spaces between the characters instead - it is:
& # 2 5 2 but without spaces!!!

Fingers crossed.
