Autumn has definitely arrived here now... although this morning the sky is blue and the sun is shining, there is a definite chill in the air.... and the ground is starting to crunch beneath my feet as the pavements are festooned with beech masts, acorns, sycamore keys and brown wrinkling leaves. I think Autumn is a beautiful season, I love the changing colours of the leaves and the misty mornings, I just wish that Summer had not flown so fast with so little real sunshine this year...

When we lived in Vanuatu I really missed the passing of the seasons... so I should remember to be grateful, but right now I am yearning for warmer climes!

Yesterday we were doing leaf pictures at Little Fishes and the beauty of the leaves really captivated me, so I thought I would share a few with you:

Shortly I'm off to Chester to see moth2fic, at least the weather is going to be fine for that, even if it won't be warm!!! I will report on our trip later.

Tomorrow I an off to Craven Arms for the ladies' weekend away... so will probably be offline for a day or two... put all those games of Scrabble on hold!!!

We had a lovely time. I will probably post at the weekend when I've had time to download and consider my photos.

Viv - I'm safe home after having misread a sign and ending up half way back into Chester with a quick turn around in a Morrison's carpark!

Enjoy Craven Arms!
