Images of Autumn

Yesterday I said I would try to catch the colours and warmth of Autumn before it disappears into winter gloom, so I took my camera with me on the trip over to Chris's house in Birkenhead, and here is what I saw:

and leaves overhead

Then walking along our street I saw this:

On the way to the station I saw these amazing leaves

Then there was a fine display of ferns at the station

The next few pictures were taken as I walked past Birkenhead Park:

And finally some rather stunning horse chestnut leaves:

So pretty! We don't have much of an autumn in this part of Texas, alas, at least not in terms of leaves changing. Thanks for the pics!

OMG what a visual feast. These are just so BEAUTIFUL! Thanks for sharing them all, I love them. THe first pic took my breath away. Then the colours that contrast as I scroll down the photos, wow!

Aw, darn, I got rid of my autumn icon, because it had come from Mel and she turned out to be... less than pleasant to me. I'll need to make a new one. Autumn here though... nothing fantastic. I might need to Google Vermont...

Aw, it is pretty. Maybe I ought to make some new icons of my own. I haven't made a good one in absolutely ages. I think I'd like to have Photoshop or something! Maybe on Finn's new computer...
