Frustration!!

The last week has been a story of total frustration!!! I can't really talk about any of the details here, because it's mostly concerned with website related things, and quite private... but in general terms, people have disregarded advice I gave earlier, meaning that I now have complex situations to sort out... all of which were totally avoidable - sigh!!!
And other people just don't answer emails...

But real life, the stuff that happens away from a computer, has been pretty good, the usual round of coffee and meetings, shopping and reading, and of course laundry!! The boys are all back in swing of school and David has exams coming up, and all my events have kicked back into life, now if the weather was just a little warmer...

It was a heckuva week, wasn't it?
It's gloriously sunny here, I wish I could send you some. And I'm actually feeling quite cheerful, how did that happen?
Have a good day, my Viv!

Well the sun came out here today, but warm is definitely not the word... otherwise a pretty good day thanks!
If you could mail me some warm sun, that would be great!!

I'm sorry people didn't listen to your advice, I can't imagine you giving it unless you had good things to say. So I'm sorry the week has been frustrating.

And cold, I just can't think of cold just now! It's really warm here at home as well, although it's windy and overcast. Still, midsummer here. The Christmas tree is very dry and dead! I have dragged it out to the barbecue!

David has exams? It seems like those poor boys have exams all the time! Or do they just come up one at a time? Is the work a lot more advanced or anything over there, compared to here? What does David think?

I'm looking forward to spring, I'm tired of short, dark, grey, cold days...

The British school system does seem to be all exams, David has public exams in the next few weeks, but he has been having mock exams for the Summer exams (May/June)before and after Christmas... they told him he should be doing 3 hours revision a day during the Christmas holidays!!! - All vaguely ridiculous in my opinion...

I don't think I'd like short, dark, grey, cold days. Our friends said that it used to be almost dark when the children finished school when they lived in Sheffield.

3 hours revision over Christmas? OMG! That's just not fair!

3 hours revision over Christmas? OMG! That's just not fair! No, he didn't do it... totally ridiculous!!

The short winter days are a bit grim, but the long, long Summer days do compensate somewhat!!

Hmmm. You mean, when you give advice you think people might actually follow it? Perhaps you didn't realise that its only purpose is to enable you say, "I told you so," at some stage in the future! *g*

As for the weather...

Perhaps you didn't realise that its only purpose is to enable you say, "I told you so," at some stage in the future! *g* - the problem is that in this case the person who had to sort out the mess was me... and very stressful it was too, but I think things are just about straight by now....
