The zoo and Chicago

Yesterday we went to London Zoo. We made our way through a fairly frozen Regent's Park and arrived at 10am just as the Zoo opened. It was very cold there, the warmth of the butterfly house, reptile house etc being particularly appreciated!! Nonetheless we had a good time walking round the frosty zoo and saw almost everything except the lions (who liked the cold even less than us I guess). We finished at the zoo in the early afternoon and then headed to Oxford Street for some shopping before meeting up with Ian and heading to the Cambridge Theatre to watch the show Chicago. The show was very well done and enjoyed by all.

It would seem we are missing lots of snow at home, judging by reports!

You are indeed missing snow - it is deep, crisp and even! Andrew went for his train this morning at about 7.15 and by 8.00 his footprints on the path were completely obliterated. Stay where you are! One of our f'list was coming from Swindon today with her baby because her husband had a meeting in Manchester - they've just phoned to say it's snowed off and they'll have to re-arrange.

Glad the zoo and the show were to your liking!! Lovely pics!
