Reykjavik

Yesterday we flew to Iceland and arrived here safely. It is a stunning place, with amazing scenery. Yesterday it was sunny (though pretty cold), today we have woken up to snow - that will be interesting!!

I haven't been but a friend of mine used to regularly do business there and he loved it. Not cheap but really interesting. They have some great hot springs somewhere which I am sure will be on your itinerary. Enjoy!

Lovely. The kirkja looks magnificent and the streets and town look very clean and tidy too !

    *sigh* you take such magnificent photos. I love them all. I wish we could pop into some other country... the water looks absolutely stunning.

    I was there many years ago....your photos show it hasnt changed much if at all ! I loved the old town, the colours of the buildings...mmmm, must go again !
