In Copenhagen

We have spent the weekend in Copenhagen. Ian is now on his way back to London, but the boys and I have one more day and night here. We are staying at the Hilton at the airport, but it only a ten minute train journey into town, so it is pretty convenient really! The weather has been glorious here, hot sun and blue skies, perfect!!

So a quick account of our trip so far:

We arrived Friday, late afternoon and had a chance to explore central Copenhagen...

The Radhaus (townhall)

Outside the station

The very impressive fire station

Walking down Hans Christian Andersen Boulevard towards the canal

Looking across the canal

Enjoying the evening sun down by the canal

Christiansborg Slot

On Saturday we went by train across the Oresund Bridge to Malmo in Sweden, where we saw the castle, the striking Twisting Torso and went on a canal trip:

A windmill in the park around the castle

Walking round the moat of the castle

The courtyard of the castle

Me with a strange sculpture in the castle grounds

The Twisting Torso

On the waterfront
