Games and laundry

On Monday the whole family along with a couple of Matthew's friends went to i-play in town and wasted the whole day playing Age of Mythology and other RTS games. It was great fun but not very productive! After we all had Burger King before heading home.
Yesterday was a lazier and less exciting sort of day which didn't get going until late. I did manage to get some grocery shopping done and also managed to sort a whole lot of laundry out, which was a job well done.
Ian seemed to spend a lot of the day downloading episodes of the animated Star Trek series! (don't ask me why.)

Happy birthday to sheaj34, hope you have a great day and a wonderful year.

bamboobowboy enjoy your last little time in England, hope you have a great and safe journey home.

What was I singing? I don't remember singing anything at that hour. I don't remember ANYTHING about that hour.

Re: So...
I think you might as well just be proud that you were singing at that hour! I sure wouldn't be!

Thanks for your birthday wishes. Very strange reading that before I went to bed, as with the time difference it is not quite my birthday yet; but I guess it soon will be now.

I'm really sorry that we couldn't organise a lift to the airport for David, Andrew is on the wrong shift and I have to be in work tomorrow. It came too soon after the Christmas break to take any time away from my desk, even it being my birthday. I'm actually running out of leave, as our leave year is March to February. I'm sure David will manage with the taxi, but it just would have been so much nicer knowing he was being taken to the airport by someone he knew, at the start of his around the world trip.

Even more sorry to read in David journal that Don is back in hospital, but it was good and will always remain good that Don was able to be home with David for Christmas.

Re: Thanks
It's been good knowing that David has been able to spend time with Mum and Dad, and you and Marjorie, though I gather David hasn't seen much of Marjorie because she's not been well. I just hope a visitor hasn't put too much extra strain on anyone at this already busy time of year. All the best and lots of love to all on Wirral
