This is my last week working in my ESOL role at school. My replacement has been working alongside me this week, she is really lovely and I think she will do a good job but I have still found it difficult. It is just so hard to believe that this is the last time I will work with these children, I will really miss them and the whole camaraderie of school staff. The studycentre job continues until Queen's Birthday weekend but that is essentially quite a solitary position, though it will keep me remotely in touch with the news and happenings from school. I'm organising a morning tea for everyone tomorrow as it is my last full day there, so I've been busy buying and baking. Yesterday I went to a KidzStuff planning meeting, it was a good evening, not because of our productive planning but because it was relaxed and pleasant and happy and we achieved what we needed to. My diary is starting to fill up with various engagements, to catch up with or farewell people before I go. It's going to be a very busy couple of months!
