What a day!

Yesterday must have been one of the most exhausting days of my life. In the morning we got rid of our fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine and tumble drier. Today it is the turn of the television and possibly the computer I'm using too, but at least we won't disappear off line because we'll be able to connect using the laptops. We also moved half of David's gear up the road to the Moore's house the rest will go today and he will move in with them tonight. Then we will have the had our party in the evening which was wonderful and well attended but also exhausting, both emotionally and physically. Thanks to all those who came, your presence was hugely appreciated. We have a farewell Pot Luck lunch after church today which will mark another series oif goodbyes.

I'm so glad you had a good farewell from your friends, it sounds like you were right there in the middle of everything out there, and lots of people have appreciated you! Which is lovely!
Hope you're not too cold with all the furniture disappearing.

It's been really freezing here today, with snow really low on the hills by Upper Hutt, but at least we still have our faithful heater so the house is still warm and cosy. Our heater was bought second hand for $10 at a church garage sale. It was the best $10 I have ever spent, and would probably class as one of the most adored pieces of furniture we've ever had even if it's not the prettiest thing you've ever seen! I may cry when it finally has to go!
