Books and beds

Well we now have a bed, it was delivered just before 8pm last night, just as we were resigning ourselves to a night spent on the floor. We managed to get it assembled and all in place before bedtime, so that was good. We went to the bank yesterday and will be back there on Thursday to open accounts for the boys. We also bought Trio tickets yesterday for travel in Wirral and central Liverpool. I also did the usual round of washing and grocery shopping. Today someone from Claire House is due to come and pick up all the clothing from us and we are also hoping to get into Chester to collect our mail from the solicitor and possibly just have a look round too if there's time. Last night I finished Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and while we were in New Ferry yesterday we preordered a couple of copies of book 6 so now I'm all set for some serious reading over the weekend!

Reading matter
I still haven't managed to get into the Harry Potter books. I've started to read them on numerous occasions thinking that I am missing out on something, but can never really get with it. Ben is a little bit better, but not exactly on fire with them. I guess he enjoys the films that come out with each book, but I don't even enjoy the films. It is obviously just not my genre.
Glad your bed came! I am sure Ian will be much happier now - although he is still not going to get the chance to explain why to me!
Looks like another roasting day here, just got back from town, had to swap some trousers I had bought for Ben (aka Bin). Got a bit of shopping to put away then I will have a rest over the hot part of the day. Saving housework for later.

Re: Reading matter
I could explain here, but I won't. I'll leave it for you to work out for yourself. If you're stuck, I can offer clues.
