The weekend

The boys have just set off to the hairdressers for a haircut, after that Matthew is going off to the movies and then to Liverpool with some school friends. Last night mum came round for tea which was lovely, other than that all I did yesterday was a load of housework, trying to get on top of my pile of laundary and trying to discover the surface in the morning room which was decorated with assorted ornaments waiting to find a home, most have now been rehoused so I can use my surface again. I am slowly making this place nore like I want it to be but it is painfully slow work. Tomorrow we have harvest festival at church, which I'm looking forward to, because it's always such a cheerful service. We'll go to Mum's for lunch after that and in the evening Ian and I plan to go over St Mary's in Upton to hear an interview with a Christian story teller. Next week looks as though it could be quite busy which will be good, because I'm really tired of housework!!

I love the idea of a Christian storyteller. I used to save good stories in an exercise book but I never wrote that many down. I think it's one of the best ways to illustrate concepts about God. I hope it's better than housework anyway!
