I never want to see another kitset, it took most of the day to make the two which arrived yesterday, even using our super new screwdrivers. Though I hate to think what it would have been like using our old screwdriver! In the shelving for the garage there were a total of 84 screws to put in, yes I was counting! Still it was a job well done, and I'm really pleased with Matthew's desk. Now Chris wants one too! Not too much else happened today, though while Ian was round at Mum's place this evening I was taken by a fit if diligence and did all the bits and pieces of tidying that needed doing around the place so for once I will be going to bed with everything tidy and organised like it's supposed to be but scarcely ever is, and that thought makes me feel strangely satisfied!

84 screws. That's a lot. You're a counter then? You Maths whizz, you.
My father is a counter, and he kind of passed it on to me too. It's handy but sometimes you find yourself counting things you really didn't need to!

When I get there, I can take over. You know how much I enjoy making up those kits, even when I do something terribly wrong.

I'm looking forward to it, you wouldn't believe how sore your hands get tightening all those screws!

Oh yeah, I would.
