Well I did lots of shopping in Liverpool this morning, but while I was there the weather deteriorated and I got really soaked on the way home. We've had rain and hail, as well as bitter, gusty winds but no snow yet. I need to get back to writing Christmas cards soon, the date for posting overseas is drawing close, but we've got Matthew's school fair this Saturday and I've said I'll help set up after Coffee Plus tomorrow and be on a stall on Saturday, so I'll be quite busy the next couple of days. Sunday will be the usual church things, but at least the trains are running this week so we won't have to play silly games with rail replacement buses. It's been a nice cosy sort of evening here, a tasty evening meal and wine, followed by not much. Ian watched a DVD and I played the piano for a while. It's nearly bed time now, if I can just persuade the boys that they should go to bed!

Rain and hail and bitter gusty winds, that doesn't sound so nice! I'm glad you had fun shopping in Liverpool. I can only think of music groups and soccer when I think about Liverpool!

It does sound like you'll be busy these next few days. Keep warm!

The other stereotypes are "two cathedrals" and "ferries".

Of course, ferry cross the Mersey, huh!
