Rainy morning

It's Wednesday morning and wwe are in the middle of an enormous thundersrorm. Ian caught an early train but the weather is getting bleaker and bleaker as the minutes go by.The boys are singing songs about blue skies but it doesn't change the reality. David is going to see Macbeth tonight in town, I hope the weather picks up before then.

It is Wednesday here too now, which means my last day in work until the 31st August, that news would brighten any thunderstorm up! As it happens I have awoken to a relatively dry day, which does make a change because we've had lots of rain earlier in the week. Although, from what I've heard there is still more rain to come - but we won't let that ruin the holidays!
A couple living close by, who we all know very well went to Liverpool yesterday morning and said that the rain was coming down past Lewis's like a small stream in the road. It was a dreadfully wet morning to go to Liverpool. I was pleased that it stayed dry for our weekly ASDA shop, but even after that the rain came down again.
I hope David enjoyed Macbeth and didn't get too wet! Has Matthew set up an account yet? I will get Ben to drop him a few messages when he does.

Stormy weather
We returned home from visiting the Lady of Does and her niece and Mrs D was set on cutting some grass. She was just putting the mower away when it started to rain. She had just come in doors when the heavens opened with sound effects. The storm was only short lived. Love to all, the Domels
