Inspired by all the lovely homemade cards I received for Christmas, I had a go at making a few, so here are a few that I made very unseasonably between Christmas and the New Year which might not survive until next Christmas so I thought I'd show them off now:

Everything I'm buying is pretty cheap, just a few pretty bits to make it interesting, I threw out masses of beads, sequins etc in NZ just before we left all of which were left over from various projects at school and church, masses of interesting fragments of wrapping paper and ribbon too all rescued from gifts over the years! I brought all my special pens with me though I couldn't bear to part with them!!

And they're probably heavier than the wrapping paper etc!! I save bits - like a magpie really, or a demented bowerbird. And I have lots of pens but quite often, the ones I really love and don't use too much and keep for 'best' dry up. Which has to have some sort of moral to it.
