A New Year

Well I've survived one whole day of 2006. On the whole it was a pretty good day, even if Christopher has managed to mislay his wallet. It is somewhere in the house, but where??!!

Church was good, the services were quiet and relatively short in the usual low key after Christmas style, but they were pleasant and meaningful, which is what counts. People seemed especially friendly and chatty too after the services, maybe that's cause the services were shorter or maybe it was just a New Year thing, nice any way.

We had a lovely turkey roast round at Mum's place for lunch. Didn't feel like doing to much after that, typed a few emails and things before the evening service.

I've been up for two hours now but there is no sign of anyone else getting up, I really must find a way of getting everyone to bed earlier!!

Ben woke up at 12.20pm, Andrew woke up at 15.30pm. I guess Andrew has an excuse as he was on nights last night and tonight. Ben has no excuse at all, but it gave me a quiet day, espeically as Ben went off this afternoon to watch Tranmere Rovers play.
Be a shock to the system getting up tomorrow morning for a dental appointment at 9am, but will help to get back into the swing of things for Wednesday morning and the first day of the new school term.

Re: Time
Chris was the last to surface just before 11am, Matthew and Chris are seeing the dentist tomorrow for a scale and polish too, I have know idea how I'm going to get anybody up at 6.30am on Wednesday! Matthew just doesn't go to bed!!
