Yesterday we had an early start, with Ian off to the Men's Prayer Breakfast, then later in the morning, we headed off to a Communion Service for Ash Wednesday. I was a little hesitant to go to this service, as the last midweek communion we went to was pretty awful, cold, no music, altogether reluctant and half hearted, without any real atmosphere of worship, however yesterday's was a really pleasant service, still low key, but calm and quiet, reflective and worshipful, really lovely!

After that we had coffee with Margaret and then I went to Little Fishes while Ian went home. In the evening David went to youth, and we went to the Prayer Meeting, better planned than usual!

Today I'm having coffee with Angela and I will try and pop round to mum's this afternoon. Ian is going to Manchester this afternoon, ready to fly to Brussels tomorrow morning, while I have another meeting this evening. We woke up to snow this morning, here are a couple of pictures:

My new website is working now, though there's still a lot I want to add there. If you want to have a look, its URL is:

Ooh, those are lovely pictures, thank you for sharing them, even if it did give Ian a cold blast LOL!

They are great. It somehow always looks peaceful when there is snow. I guess if it's windy and raining, there won't be snow, huh. But that looks lovely and peaceful.

I'd forgotten how lovely it is to walk on fresh, pristine snow, with that satisfying crunch underfoot as the snow compacts with each step.

I'd also forgotten how horrible it is to walk through half melted slush!

Oh well!!*g*
