So the week's half over, what have I done? Monday saw another trip to the dentist and tidying the garage in the afternoon. There was a music practice in the evening, quite a useful and constructive affair. On Tuesday morning Ian and I went to Birkenhead, mainly to pick up a couple of things for Chris's birthday, but I also bought a new umbrella and a pad of canvas paper. In the evening I went up to church for a choir practice, there wasn't a very big turn out, but it was fun all the same and doubtless the numbers will increase as we get closer to Easter!
Yesterday was Christopher's 12th birthday, so we were up early to open presents. Other than that it was a pretty ordinary Wednesday, I went to Little Fishes in the afternoon which went well. Mum popped round briefly just before tea time to give Chris his card and his present and I bought a small chocolate cake for us all to share after tea. Then Ian and I were out to housegroup and David was out at Youth. It was a good bible study last night, one of the more constructive ones I've been to.

Today there isn't much planned, though I certainly have plenty to do, laundry, tiying, dusting... Tonight we are going to go and talk to some people who are considering emmigrating to NZ, so that will be fun. Now if I can't think of any thing important to do, I'll have to do the laundry, but I'm thinking very hard!!

I'm about up to date on my laundry, until the school uniform hits the floor tomorrow. As for my housework though, it's non existant. Everywhere needs a good clean, polish and hoover! Having Andrew off work has really messed up any routine I had and I didn't have much of a routine to start with! So, Ben and Chris are the same age for a short time. I hope Chris had a good birthday, not that much fun when it is a school day though.

Re: laundry
I'm never up to date on laundry, too many people and too many clothes in this house!

I am so glad you had a good bible study thing. One of us had to!!

And you must have had a lot of trips to the dentist now. I would have had to be on valium right now if that had been me *g* - well, not that I've ever had a valium, but my American friends talk about it a lot LOL!

Wish Chris a happy belated birthday from me, please!!

I can cope with the dentist, though it will be a long haul before my teeth are sorted out, but I might seriously consider valium to help me cope with the trials of the laundry!!

Chris had a nice birthday I think, we are taking him and some friends out tomorrow.

Oh yeah, I hate that damned laundry. Getting things washed doesn't worry me, it's the putting it away when it is dry that I struggle with. The boys have too much clothing and the drawers always seem full already. So I am reluctant to go in and find spaces for the clean clothes. Argh! And I hate putting the towels away because the cupboard is always dark and crammed with crap and things fall out when I open it. I am such a disaster. Maybe tomorrow I'll clean that cupboard out yet again! Watch this space!
