Yesterday I was out early to go to Coffee Plus, which was lovely as usual. Then it was home for lunch and after that I bribed myself with the promise of some cardmaking time, if I sorted out some laundry. So after an hour or so communing with the laundry, the remains of whih are now contained in a basket, awaiting a visit from the iron, I indulged myself with some cardmaking before it was time to make the tea. In the evening Chris and Matthew were both out at Pathies. As Chris was offered a lift home, we had the rest of the evening at home, I was hoping to watch Morse but David had already started watching Back to the Future III so we watched that instead. Not much planned for today, and some of the family are still in bed so we're not having an early start!! Maybe I'll play the piano soon!!

That's so cool that you are still card making.

I sat still yesterday and made a most laborious one for my friend who is probably going to call round today. She was away last weekend, for her birthday, and I haven't been able to get out this week to get her a gift. So I have made a fancy card to show I care in the meantime *g*

Last weekend I had all the laundry done. This weekend is not looking so promising :( THere will be people looking for socks tomorrow if I don't do something about it, I guess.

I never seem to catch up with laundry but I think everyone has clean clothes to wear!

Any chance of seeing a picture of it before it goes to your friend?

It's not that interesting! Just laborious! But I'll have a go at scanning it, just for you *g*

Oddly, the paper looks dark green, but it's dark blue!

Thank you, it looks lovely, though not at all dark blue! It is really hard to get good images of cards, especially the more 3D ones, I usually end up taking photos rather than scanning, but it's still not very satisfactory. I'm sure your friend will like the card, I've sent out two handmade cards today, the pink flower one I posted the other day and another one, I hope the recipients like them.

card making
you did well with the card making. I really like my winnie the pooh card... thanks for that. It's good to see how the embossing works too, it looks effective.

Re: card making
I'm glad you liked it, the embossing is really easy to do, and it is very effective!
