Mar. 25th, 2006

I had a good day yesterday, Coffee plus in the morning and after lunch, a trip to Liverpool with Ian. We ordered pizza for tea and then Margaret picked me up for a trip to Theatre Clwyd to see the Shell Seekers with her and Mum. It was a very enjoyable play and very well done, thoroughly worthwhile. Chris went to Pathies in the evening too.

Today David has gone off on a trip to Moel Fama with a church group, the rest of us are just hanging around on computers, except for Matthew who is still in bed!(What time did that boy go to bed last night??)

I scanned the two pictures I painted on Thursday

I've also produced an Easter icon from a slightly squashed version of the picture, as you can see!

Had to google to find out what Moel Fama was. So I did and went here. If the weather is anything like it is here, they will have a great day for it.

Your pictures radiate a certain happy.

That's a good picture of the view and they seemed to have had a pleasant climb, though the weather has turned damp here in the late afternoon.

Yeah, they're very happy pictures, the first one especially, I painted them in a very joyful frame of mind!!

OOh, I like those, and it makes a good icon, very cheery! The second one has a lovely koru or ponga fern influence, from my persepective *g*

I love the little yellow flowers at the foot of the cross, too, they're just perfect.

The first picture is just pure joy, the second is happy too, but has something of longing in it too. That symbolism is very important to me, I want to keep the NZ and Vanuatu influences in me very much alive and part of my culture!
